Checking in was a breeze and the rooms were nicely kept, which I appreciated. The only downside was that breakfast wasn’t part of the price and they never mentioned it beforehand – a little complimentary coffee would have made up for it.

Gisele greeted us with a warm smile and the spot itself is in a great area, which was a plus. On the flip side, coffee is sold separately for about R$40 and we didn’t order it, yet we saw lots of guests drinking it; the second‑floor room was small but fine for two, though the sheets were tiny and the face towel had a yellow stain (still clean but smelled odd).
The location is solid and they even allow pets, which is a nice touch. Inside, however, there was no staff on site, the room was dusty, the bed was uncomfortably hard (only tolerable for a couple of nights), the shower worked fine, and the TV was a hassle to turn on without any instructions. Overall the price is reasonable, but the room needs some TLC.
