The whole hotel was original. It’s a quirky, unique spot unlike anything I’ve seen before. The cleaning isn’t the best, but the cool vibe and originality make up for it, and it’s well worth the price. I recommend it.

“good location and clean room.”

The hotel sat directly across from the train station, about a 5‑minute walk, which was why I picked it to stay close to the train while traveling solo. From the station you can get to the city and the airport easily by bus—bus 61 to the airport and bus 44 to the castle for under £2. The old town is a 30‑minute walk with no hills. My room was very clean with a private bathroom, the staff were friendly, and it was good value. The only downside was the duvets were very short; at 157 cm I barely covered myself and had to use both. There’s no lift, and the property is on a slight hill, so if you have trouble walking or using stairs, keep that in mind.

Close to the main train station. The operator was very helpful, and there were options to broaden horizons for health issues with the chance to buy great supplements and health preparations. The mattress was comfortable.

“Strangely smelly”

The building itself is unusual and clearly poured a lot of passion into its design when it was built. The location is excellent, close to the train station, so we could hop on a train to Vienna with ease. The building did have a strange smell, possibly from nearby construction, and there was mold on the ceiling; the floors weren’t clean.

The staff is very friendly and the hotel facilities are very interesting; also, it isn't too far from the center—about a 20-minute walk
