“Very pleasant and welcoming staff”
The staff went the extra mile at breakfast when we requested a plant‑based/vegan menu. The reception was already closing when we arrived.
“Employ better cleaners.”
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, it was grubby: the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned (squirting toilet cleaner around the bowl didn’t work), and the TV didn’t work, giving a general sense of grubbiness.
“Practical good value for money”
Location, price, restaurant, and staff attentiveness were all great. Nothing major was off; the heating could be improved.

The room was cozy, breakfast was outstanding, and the croissants matched the best we’ve tasted in Europe. The staff were exemplary and could not have been more helpful. There was nothing we did not like.
A lovely place to stay; the room was charming, breakfast was first‑class with a nice touch of pastries to start, and the selection was varied yet high‑quality in both food and presentation. The only drawback was the poor television reception in the room.
