My room offered a lovely sea view.

“Good breakfast, but the paint needs work”
The breakfast spread was surprisingly varied and I appreciated that it was included in the room rate. On the downside, the bungalow paint is constantly peeling because of the humidity, so the walls look pretty shabby after a short time. It’s a nice perk but the upkeep could be better.
“Friendly staff and standout breakfast”
Every staff member, from Mme Atangana at the front desk to the housekeeping crew, was genuinely friendly, which made my fourth visit feel like coming home. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering both a solid continental selection and tasty Cameroonian specialties.
“Convenient spot, but AC hiccup at check‑in”
I liked how close the hotel was to the main attractions, but the first room I got had a broken air conditioner, leaving me drenched in sweat until they finally fixed it. The location was a plus; the AC issue was a hassle.
“Prime location, but needs a makeover”
The spot is right where you want to be, but the property itself feels a bit dated and could use a facelift. The beach nearby is fantastic—pristine and full of potential—but there’s hardly any infrastructure to enjoy it.
“Great staff, but arrival chaos and stale breakfast”
The hotel’s location and the whole team—from managers down to the cleaning staff—were impressive, and the pool was kept spotless daily. However, the property itself looks tired, the breakfast options are limited, and if you show up after 9 am there’s often nothing left because they don’t restock. Check‑in was a mess; we were first given a lower‑category room despite our Genius 3 status and a Black Friday discount, and the front desk seemed more focused on price than on honoring the reservation.
