There's a small supermarket very close by, making it convenient for subway use. The air conditioner was old and too small for the room, making it uncomfortably hot and humid. The mattress was too soft. Shampoo, soap, and other amenities were not replenished even when they ran out. In the shared lounge, several loaves of bread were expired and the refrigerator was unsanitary. Overall, the room rate was far too high for what was offered.

Very central location, quiet at night, friendly staff, free breakfast and coffee available 24/7, clean facilities, comfortable bed and bathroom. If you arrive home late, around 11 pm to 12 am, there might be no hot water for a shower; this happened to us for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed.

The spot is perfect—no need for the metro, just stroll to the beach and cathedral, and the staff were super friendly. Our room was spacious, the kitchen was a bonus, and the complimentary tea, coffee, and pastries were a nice touch. I would definitely come back! The only downside was the road noise; it was loud when the doors were open, but quiet once they were shut.

The place is close to sights in Eixample, has good restaurants, and sits in a safe part of town. Both the common area and the room were clean, and coffee was available. I wish I could give a better review, but several critical problems ruined our stay. First, we received check‑in instructions that let us access the room late, and we had to find Wi‑Fi to message the property manager for the necessary info. Second, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Third, we experienced a night of heavy rain; the room started leaking and we heard loud noise from the AC and vent for hours, even after it was turned off. We messaged the night manager in the middle of the night, but he couldn’t help. The day manager said there was nothing he could do, and the only offer was to move us to a room for our second night that wasn’t comparable to the one we paid for. Because of this experience I wouldn’t recommend the place given all the options available in Barcelona, though I understand our situation may have been unique and others might have enjoyed it.
