A beautiful, atmospheric room. Everything is new and tastefully arranged. The private bathroom has a walk‑in shower. Air‑conditioning, smart TV, and a nice seat for breakfast. A fridge to store your own items. The surroundings weren’t ideal; there’s no nature within walking distance, but the village itself is within walking distance.

The location is very quiet yet within walking distance of the village. The modern room has all the comforts. There’s a place to park bikes in the garden, secured. Parking is right in front of the property. Entry to the property and room uses a numeric code. No breakfast is included, as we knew. The room had basic amenities for making your own breakfast, but you can’t, for example, fry an egg or heat warm oatmeal; maybe a microwave would help? We also found the stairs to the rooms dangerous, especially with luggage. Yerseke itself has many closed restaurants and almost no cafés in the city centre.

De Horst was fantastic, offering everything you could need, with a minibar and a location close to numerous restaurants and activities. However, my knee issues made it hard to navigate the stairs.

The peaceful surroundings were wonderfully quiet at night. The host lady was friendly. A nice small village within walking distance, with plenty of restaurants nearby.
