The lodge was beautiful with spacious rooms, friendly efficient staff, and a great kitchen with delicious dinner. It’s a few kilometers from the center, but that’s fine. We had a dispute with the managers over selling glass white wine: only Chardonnay is available by the glass, everything else requires a bottle, which felt unprofessional and childish. A shame for such a lovely lodge. Also odd that the room rate can’t be charged to your credit card through Booking.
