It feels like a jungle house, the host is very nice, the view is great, there are cottages and a hearty breakfast. It’s a 20‑minute walk to the Bine Arche Bridge; for Ella you need a tuk‑tuk, which the host also arranged. Otherwise you’re 20‑30 minutes from the capital.

The location is close to the trailheads for Little Adam’s Peak and 9 Arches Bridge, about a kilometre out of town so it's quiet yet still walkable. The property climbs a steep ramp and stairs, but the rooms span multiple storeys and are surrounded by plants with terraces to unwind on. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are modern. The owner prepares tea and coffee with spices from his own garden. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. All good!

It sits outside the busy centre of Ella, making it very quiet, and it's within walking distance to Little Adam’s Peak. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and one evening the dinner served was one of the best price‑quality meals I’ve had during my entire stay in Sri Lanka. Nothing specifically negative.

Only a two‑minute tuk‑tuk ride from Ella main road, the place is tucked among trees, close to nature, and peaceful with cultivated plants everywhere. From the balcony I spotted several deer and a grizzled giant squirrel. The room is basic but very clean and has a comfortable bed. The owner is wonderful and friendly, offering homegrown cinnamon tea upon arrival, and the breakfast is excellent. Having stayed at many places, this experience will stay with us and I highly recommend it. Not much else; it’s basic with a few wobbly fittings, but everything works.
