The noise from the ground‑floor pub lasted until three in the morning, the bathrooms were awful, the rooms stank, the rooms were tiny—there was no room for a suitcase, the stairs were steep and narrow, making it hard to get through with a bag, and the bar and reception staff ignored us when we arrived.

The building has a lot of character and the location is superb, the beds were comfortable and there was air‑conditioning, plus the downstairs pub was fantastic, and both the room and bathrooms were kept clean. Our party of eight had to share just two bathrooms, which got very crowded, and a few of us weren’t thrilled about hearing the pub’s music until midnight.

The room sat directly above the lounge. A loud band played until 1:00 am, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The location was fine. The bands were very noisy, which made it difficult to sleep.

“Really late and loud night/morning bar music.”

Clean, 2 shared bathrooms , comfortable bed , quaint historic building. Very good price compared to other expensive Talkeetna places during summer. Very loud music night right below the rooms with yelling crowd until 130 am. No problem if I’d known but no warning or caution with booking. I would have booked elsewhere. Kinda lucked out as other nights looked less over the top
