“Bad managed property”

The listing was managed poorly, as someone had already been living there for six months when I booked. No one warned me beforehand, and I only discovered the problem after booking, which caused unnecessary stress and forced me to find a last‑minute alternative. I wouldn’t recommend this place given how chaotic and unprofessional the situation was.

I could hear the sea from the room, and the owners were friendly and helpful. The beach was a short walk away and the area stayed calm and quiet. Food could be ordered via UberEATS. Nothing needed improvement.

The only thing that worked was the location. The room was infested with ants; even a quick snack on the table would trigger a swarm. Light switches barely functioned, and there were cockroaches in the kitchen. One morning a 3–4 cm cockroach landed on my pillow, frightening me enough to leave the apartment mid‑vacation. The listing claimed two rooms, but only one had air conditioning; the other offered no fresh air even when the window was opened. I avoided opening the 1st‑floor window at night to keep snakes and lizards away, so my friend had to book another hotel and pay extra. The cheaper hotel I stayed at later was far better. The photos on the site were too good; the place looked much worse in reality.

The owners were nice and helpful, and they gave us a good location for anyone with a motorcycle. There was no air conditioning and no hot water.

The host was fantastic and always available; he even offered a bike for rent. The place was well‑located, quiet, far from the road but close to all beaches and towns. The only downside was a torn sheet.
