“fun themed rooms”

Entering the place was straightforward, and there were plenty of bathrooms and showers, although they get busy at peak times. The kitchen was good and there was a nice outdoor area. Towels were fresh and replaced almost every day. One of us had a very squeaky bed that was annoying and probably woke half the dorm. It was odd that there was no interaction with any staff besides the cleaner. Toilet paper availability was a bit unpredictable, but it was a holiday weekend. The location was close to the river, shops, city, and markets.

It should not be listed on booking. The constant noise and bad smell were unpleasant, and there is a bar in the same building. The premises were dirty and the facilities were deteriorated.

The location is great, with several good restaurants just a two‑step walk from the hostel. Check‑in and check‑out are easy because everything is done by keypad with a key box.

I had a string of very bad luck during my stay, yet the staff were incredibly supportive throughout the whole process and went above and beyond what I expected to help me. I am very grateful to everyone involved for all the help :) Aside from my personal experience, the hostel itself was pretty nice. The rooms were large and tidy, and there wasn’t much noise from the bar downstairs at night, which is a nice bonus for winding down after a day. The hostel isn’t built in the most social way, but it is still highly social and easy to meet and talk to people in the rooms or common area; I met many people during my short stay. The air conditioning in the larger dorm room doesn’t work well, so depending on the weather it can get pretty hot at night. In the smaller dorm it was fine. Also, the short supply of bathrooms/showers can be a problem during peak hours.
