The close proximity to hiking departures and shops was great, and having a washing machine available was handy. The street noise and the surprise of sharing with roommates were a bit annoying, though everything ended up going well.

Located in the eastern part of the island. Only one bathroom and one toilet to share among four rooms. We had to text the manager for toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap because there was little equipment. The room faced the main road, so it was noisy, and the key‑code had to be called with the owner.

The accommodation was right in the center of Salazie, spacious, with a nearby parking lot and small shops. We never met the owner. The top‑floor room was far too hot, no air‑conditioning unless the lights were on. The owner was supposed to bring fresh sheets for the lower room but never followed up. The terrace was nice but very noisy because it’s on the main road. The metal roof and pigeons added a lot of noise, and the electricity needs improvement.

“Logement spacieux, confortable et bien placé mais plutôt en usage privatif.”

The apartment was well‑located in the center, close to shops and parking spaces. It was very spacious since we only used two of the four rooms and had the kitchen, shower room, and toilet all private. We appreciated the provision of sheets, household linen, and toilet towels. The owner trusted us by allowing key‑box arrival and departure, which was very convenient.
