The staff were very nice, the view from the large balcony was great, and there was a free parking space in front of the hotel. All requests were met promptly – I asked for a kettle and got one right away. Sustainability was maintained. Rooms were cleaned and towels were replaced on request. The room was newly renovated. Breakfast was good. However, there was no wardrobe, just a shelf with a door that also held the safe, so one week’s worth of clothes didn’t fit. Many items had to stay in the suitcase. The elevator was often glitchy. A €5 fee per person for a sauna bathrobe felt excessive for the room rate. We’d never stayed in a hotel before. Fresh fruit was offered as a selection, not as a fruit salad – not everyone likes mixed fruit. It would have been nice to have a tea option in addition to the coffee bar on the room.
