The hotel’s location was convenient, the room was clean, and the view from the window was nice. We checked in an hour early and were truly grateful for that. Towels were not provided, and the water was also lacking (though a kettle was available). The windows need a mosquito net; otherwise, all the spiders and insects that cling to the outside glass would end up in the room, so we didn’t risk opening the windows. Sound insulation was almost nonexistent—neighbors, street, and road noise were all audible. For the price of the room, there was no shoe rack. The stairs were a separate kind of challenge: the hotel had no elevator, so if you’re not strong, have kids, or carry a lot of luggage, climbing will be another quest and nobody will help. The pool was paid for (in other hotels of the same price range it’s included). Breakfast was also mediocre; we bought cheese pancakes, but the price-to-taste ratio was also mediocre (if you expect something refined, or even just neat presentation, it’s not worth it—three cheese pancakes with a mix of sour cream and jam). I stayed for one night due to unforeseen circumstances; a second stay is definitely not an option.
