Very clean, quaint, beautifully decorated. Great breakfast. They provide little extras like snacks and sachets. The hosts were very welcoming. No complaints.

The grounds look gorgeous, with deep woods that give a truly peaceful vibe. The Inn sits on a beautiful property, but the building itself feels very old. Our first room had cracks in the walls, cables hanging from the light fixtures, and bedding that looked out of date. When we asked about other rooms, the answer was no. After a bit of frustration, my fiancée asked again, and the staff finally moved us to a suite in another building of the Inn. That suite was also outdated, yet it was larger, more charming, and matched the price better. Unfortunately, the woman we think is the innkeeper was rude on several occasions. On the first day, I was almost yelled at for not being able to open the front door because I used the wrong handle; we had never been told how the door worked, and it seemed locked, so the reaction was over the top. On the second day, after we had slept there, we politely asked if we could use one of the Inn’s rowboats on the lake before leaving. We were told that because checkout was at 11 a.m., we wouldn’t have enough time, so we couldn’t use the boat. That was especially disappointing. I’ve never had to be denied access to a hotel’s amenities just because I had checked out, especially at a four‑star property at this price. I’m not sure if it was connected to our earlier experience and room change, but by then we felt unwelcome. The location is gorgeous and the property has a lot of charm and potential, but at this level and price, I expected a better‑maintained property and, above all, more kindness, consideration, and genuine customer service. Those expectations were not met.

“Phenomenal. Can’t wait to do it again.”

The place was so clean and spacious, and it had that classic charm I was hoping for. Breakfast with Maria was unforgettable—she walked us through everything she had made that morning after a very warm greeting. She and Rom are wonderful hosts, and I loved the piano in the front library room. Nothing negative; it was excellent.

The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center, but unfortunately, the heating system was a bit of a letdown. The breakfast, on the other hand, was top-notch, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste.
