The location is fantastic and the rooms feel spacious, with staff that are genuinely helpful. The only gripe I have is a single step in the bathroom and the sheets on the bed were a bit rough.

The place sits in a good spot, but the listing is confusing – they blend photos of apartments with hostel rooms and never say it’s a hostel. I snapped a new jacket on a broken door edge, the building looks worn out, and the power kept cutting out for about seven hours each day with no generator in sight. It feels like they’re more interested in taking your money than fixing anything.

The facilities are pretty basic, originally set up for divers, but Kike was extremely friendly and courteous. It’s right next to the whale‑watching launch area, so I’d definitely recommend staying here.
