“A cute property trying to be a boutlque hotel but not quite there. Some rooms accessible only by steep demanding stairs”
The location is excellent, the staff are eager to please, and breakfast is generous. Some basic facilities are subpar (no bedside table on one side, no bedside light, single outlet for charging phones, etc.), and Wi‑Fi was not available for the duration of our stay (3 nights). The bathroom is rather cramped.
The staff were very nice and helped me navigate a tricky parking situation, which was a big plus. However, as with many hotels in Turkey, the finishing touches could use some improvement.
“More than perfect, the best!”
When I visited Urfa, I booked a room at Arangah and it turned out to be a perfect choice. Every morning the breakfast spread was both generous and tasty, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful—especially Fethiye, who speaks excellent English and is a wonderful person, so lucky to have met her. My room was spacious, featuring beautiful carved wood furniture and a very comfortable bed with soft, cool sheets. The shower was large and provided plenty of hot water. The hotel’s location is walkable to many activities, mosques, restaurants, and shops. After checking out, I left my backpack in a taxi, and the amazing staff at the hotel retrieved it for me at the bus station; that level of kindness was truly heartwarming. The people here are the best in Turkey. Thank you so much for everything!
“Excellent,safe and clean experience”
The hotel was very clean and located in a central spot just steps from the main bazaar. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and this family‑owned place served what I consider the best breakfast in the world 😀.
