The tatami floor meant even a baby who can’t walk could get in and out of the bed easily, and having separate toilet and bath made it cleaner; the bath itself had a separate shower and tub, like a home bath, which I liked. Overall, it felt clean. When I mentioned I was traveling with a baby, they moved the bed closer and left baby soap in the bath, which was helpful. The hotel’s concept felt a bit too dark, especially the washbasin area made makeup hard; a light would have helped. Seeing many other parents, a subscription for baby food and diapers would have been nice. Going to the first‑floor microwave to feed a baby was a hassle; a baby‑friendly room with a microwave and toys, even at a higher price, would have made staying easier.
