The property itself was amazing with lovely, helpful staff! The kitchen and pool were nice to have. We chose the suite instead of the standard room, which turned out to be a mistake because it was very noisy—upstairs with neighbours and animal sounds from the half‑outside bathroom. We think the lower rooms would have avoided this. The location was awful (our fault); it takes about 30‑45 minutes to drive to Uluwatu’s main roads because of traffic. The roads there are scary, very bumpy and steep.

The room was pampering and clean, the pool was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was a bit far from the center.

Being close to Balangan and Dreamland beaches made the spot perfect for beginner and intermediate surfers, especially when compared to other parts of Uluwatu. The staff on site, especially the lovely Ilo, were around in the mornings and very friendly and attentive. The shared kitchen was spotless and a great bonus, letting me brew hot tea every morning.
