“Would not stay there again.”

The bed was comfy but too high for a short senior citizen, and there was plenty of counter space in both the room and the bathroom; the grab bars helped when moving in and out of the tub. However, the room itself smelled awful, and the building’s interior was saturated with a strong scent that made breathing difficult. The bathroom was grimy around the bottom of the toilet, the floor wasn’t cleaned well, and the shower curtain needed to be replaced. The ice bucket was nasty inside and out, with black mold in the lid, and the air conditioner and bathroom fan were noisy; the fan wasn’t even fastened to the ceiling and was hanging down. The toilet height was low for a short senior citizen, and several areas—light switches, outlets, walls—had “stuff” on them that hadn’t been wiped down in quite some time.

The location was good, but everything was clean except for the bathroom commode. The commode seat had urine all over it, suggesting the previous guest was very filthy. We stayed in the room for only 8 hours to sleep and left before breakfast, so I can’t comment on anything else.

“Disappointing and barely adequate.”

The location was good, but the room key never worked. The staff had to let me into my room and didn’t offer to give me another room instead. The facility lacks an elevator, which would have been nice for carrying bags up; I didn’t know there was no elevator until I checked in.

“Worth the money. Good place. Nice people.”

The staff were friendly and they cleaned the room daily; the beds were comfortable. However, the location was off the road and, even though there are plenty of other places nearby, it felt isolated.
