Hotel Das Lola

“Ein Hotel mit Atmosphäre”

The hotel is tastefully decorated with a calm atmosphere, located quietly near Essen, offers ample free parking right at the hotel, has excellent transport links to the city center, places a high value on cleanliness, provides drinks and snacks at all times, the staff are accommodating and very friendly, and the breakfast buffet in the cozy winter garden is extensive. The only downside was that the coffee from the automatic machine did not suit my taste.

“Best place to stay in Essen”

The location was great, close to the city center and surrounded by green and woods, the staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent, and the room was lovely.

The house looks nice and the rooms are well equipped, but I'm still not used to the impersonal self‑check‑in; the lack of staff—especially since we didn't book breakfast—feels like a loss of humanity.

The hotel feels modern, spotless and has a cosy, quiet atmosphere. The only drawback was the two separate mattresses.

Very good breakfast.
