I couldn't leave fast enough, and I didn't eat anything. The room needs cleaning and the mold should be removed.

Sunny was friendly and personable as always, and check‑in took less than eight minutes. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed linen was fresh. Overall, my third stay was a great experience. On the morning we left, at 6 am, the gentleman at the front desk handed us breakfast snacks for the road and brewed coffee for us, even though breakfast isn’t served until 7 am. The room had a damp smell, but it’s right across the street from Lake Erie and could use a little updating.

Close to downtown Port Clinton. No elevator. The shower handle was very difficult to use and hard to get the water to come out at the right temperature. Breakfast was supposedly included, but all the food was stale bread, mushy apples, and cereal/oatmeal.

There was a bed, four walls, a functional door, and a bathroom. I worked as the executive housekeeper at a 375‑room hotel for over five years, so I know when people are just skating by. The sheets had black, streaky stains, likely from the iron or press you use. The room itself smelled heavily of mildew and mold. The staff were minimally cordial. We even mentioned that this was an anniversary trip for us, and when we asked for any sort of surprise—just a single chocolate bar would have been fine—we were told the staff were “too small.” Only two other guests were staying that weekend, and they had multiple people just sitting at the front desk watching us come and go without ever saying hello, even though we greeted them. Late at night on our second night, the bathroom began to suspiciously reek of sulfur for some reason, even though neither of us used it. They left us the half‑used toilet paper roll from the last guests and gave us no additional rolls even after servicing our room. The same painting hung four separate times in our room, which really just screamed that they got the decor on sale from a closing hotel nearby. House centipedes were all over the outside of the building, and the entire building seemed to be held together with duct tape and hope.
