“Nerekomenduoju niekam”

The stay was not enjoyable. The mattress was terrible, the pillows were of questionable quality, and overall there was no comfort—sleeping there was quite uncomfortable.

The rooms are definitely worth a visit. The hotel is directly opposite the Tourist Information Centre (climb to the second floor for the small bear museum); the lake is visible through the restaurant windows. Breakfast is interesting with tiny portions of various dishes. The lunch spot is great, tasty, and the service is quick. When booking, request a room with a lake view. Not only for the view—half of the windows block out street noise, but the street traffic continues until midnight, making it hard to sleep.

“Pleasant surprize in Samogitia”

The location in the city centre and near lake recreation areas is great, the service level is high, the restaurant is good, and the rooms are comfortable. Traffic noise makes it hard to sleep with the window open.

“Trotz 4 Sternen und guter Lage nicht empfehlenswert!”

The room was spacious and well furnished, and checking in went smoothly; the breakfast room offered a nice view of the lake. However, we stayed on a room facing the main street, and even on a weekday there was heavy traffic noise late into the night—cars and especially motorcycles—despite keeping the window closed, which made sleep difficult. The breakfast was disappointing: the fried eggs were missing, there were no rolls, only ciabatta bread, the coffee machine stopped after a while, and the toaster never turned on. In the bathroom the glass sliding door was cramped and uncomfortable, and there was no space to dry off comfortably.
