The rooms were large and beautiful, very clean and quiet, and the overall ambience and décor were lovely. The breakfast, however, was extremely disappointing; the menu was very limited and unchanged all year, offering almost no options.

This hotel offers all the essentials and has staff that are incredibly accommodating—the real treasure of the place. A free shuttle runs between the airport and downtown, which is a nice perk. The breakfast is basic and follows a typical Standard American Diet. My room was spacious, had a mini‑fridge, and the dark curtains kept the bright light out. The hotel sits more than a mile from downtown and isn’t very accessible; there are no sidewalks once you leave the UIUC campus perimeter, so walking at night can feel uncomfortable, especially alone.

I enjoy staying here because the beds are comfortable. I wish the bathroom had a fan and full‑closing doors; the current sliding door doesn’t shut completely, so sound travels easily, which can be annoying. A few more hot breakfast items would also be welcome.

The hotel was easy to locate and in a perfect spot for the concert. The room could have been a bit larger.
