Hotel Casa Arnel

“Muy lindo pero deberían de verificar que el personal de limpieza en verdad cambie las camas ente cada huésped.”

The location is privileged, the neighborhood is beautiful. The hotel itself is very pretty and the staff is very friendly and attentive. They care about serving you well and offer a small breakfast that I didn't realize was included. I would definitely stay with them again, but I would check the bed in the room as soon as I enter to make sure it is truly clean. I arrived a bit late to sleep and when I was about to lie down I noticed the bed was not clean; it seemed the room had not been cleaned because the bed was dirty.

“No era lo que esperaba”

The location was the only thing I liked about the accommodation. We couldn't try the breakfast because there were too many people and it was out of stock. We called before booking to ask about parking and were never told it was limited capacity. The shared bathroom was too small and dirty, with no separation between the toilet and shower. The staff were unhelpful and didn't care to provide a solution.

“Volveré, sin duda!”

The tranquility, the comfort, the accessibility, the friendly and attentive staff, and the safe and walkable area around the hotel made it a place built for complete rest. The only downside was that I could no longer find a room with a private bathroom, but it was still worth choosing Casa Arnel.

The place is pretty and comfortable, but I wish they had a TV.

“Staff very caring and helpful and a restful friendly place to see the best of Oaxaca.”

Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit and good coffee; eggs and other items were available but we didn't try them. We adored Casa Arnel: the interior is beautiful, the courtyard is full of plants and a parrot, and the second‑floor terrace lets you see the best of the Jalatlaco neighborhood—from wedding celebrations to religious holidays, to bands, and everyday market stalls with tourists watching it all.
