The building is beautiful and the staff are friendly, yet the breakfast was cramped and the bed felt like a rock; the AC kept shutting off, the keys didn’t work, and I had to wait for staff to unlock my door and give me a new set after going down twice for a replacement.

The week ends had good food but other days there wasn't much to choose from. We arrived after a long day on the road, so a shower was in line. We had a room with a tub. The bottom was very slick, no mat. the grab bars were only one. You need more, like one the full length of the tub. My partner had trouble getting out of the tub. nothing to hang onto for help. Before the next shower we called for a mat. The receptionist said he would bring it up. 2 hours later I went down and he left the information with someone else who said I knew you would come and get it. HA HA!!! Thanks for helping me

The only part that needed improvement was the check‑in: the clerk emerged from a door wrapped in black, looking cold and as if we’d interrupted something; she was cordial but not friendly or welcoming, as if she were irritated by our booking—though everyone else was very friendly and kind.

The place was spotless and right in a spot that worked for us, though the breakfast could have had a few more options.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly, and being close to family was great; lower cost is always nice, but it was worth the price.
