Carlisle House Inn

“Absolutely wonderful.”

The Carlisle House hit the sweet spot for our Nantucket getaway; the island itself is idyllic and we were thrilled with the place. Janine and her team were super helpful, answering any question and meeting every need. I’d suggest staying here if you want to walk to great restaurants, beaches, and more—its central location made our daily strolls easy. My only gripe: my husband found the bed a bit too firm, but that’s just personal preference; otherwise, everything was excellent.

“Very nice , comfortable . Great location”

The hotel is centrally located, clean, and comfortable, and everyone working here, including the owner, is very nice. The downside was that my bathroom was outside my room; even though it was a private bathroom, it was somewhat inconvenient because I had to lock the door, step out, and then unlock it again to get back in. It was the last room available for a reason, but the room itself was really nice, as was the bathroom.

“Wonderful staff and close to town”

I liked how comfortable this inn was; I never felt rushed, the staff were very welcoming, and I will come again. Nothing else. The inn was perfect.
