The location and room design were good. There were baby cockroaches in the room (not my fault, you find them everywhere…but I had to move the bed), a lot of street noise, very loud karaoke, and the walls were thin so everything could be heard. Breakfast was pretty poor and everything was cold.

The kitchen staff were super helpful, but that's about where the positives ended. The air conditioning wasn't working, check-in took ages because the receptionist was new and clearly out of her depth, and little things like a bottle opener or HDMI cable were nowhere to be found - even when I forgot mine and called to ask if it was still there.

I've stayed at Fame loads of times and it's always been a pleasure; I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free stay.

The room was clean and nice, which was a relief. However, we had a bit of a problem with the booking - they had listed a deluxe room for three people, but it wasn't actually suitable for three. When we tried to sort it out, the staff weren't very helpful. To make matters worse, their laundry service ruined two pairs of our swimwear, so we had to go out and buy new ones.
