The pool and the mattress were good. I arrived around 17:00 on Monday 31 August, having chosen this hotel for a quality stay at €108 per night – at least that was what I expected. Upon arrival I learned that I couldn’t have breakfast because the buffet didn’t open before my departure. I had paid for that service with the room. The staff told me I could buy my own breakfast, but I hadn’t planned to shop at peak hour. The description on the booking site had nothing to do with what was offered. They offered to give me eggs and cook them for me, which surprised me, and I explained that at the room price I just wanted to relax and enjoy the pool. At least they allowed my sister and nephew to come. But back to breakfast: the person finally cooked the eggs and told me my tray would be ready soon so I could bring it to my room the next day. It seemed they would have done it themselves. I also discovered a very strong odor in the room. There was a lot of equipment that could use a refresh. I had to go out to get the tray with two fruits that weren’t edible because they were stale, a tiny plastic jar of jam, two eggs, frozen sliced bread, individually packaged industrial cheeses, and ultra‑industrial bottled juice. Photos confirm it. Incredible for the price. I was really shocked, and honestly €108 feels excessive at this point.

The welcome was warm, especially since the AC had been turned on just before I arrived. The setting, the tips for exploring, the quietness, the pool, the parking, the breakfast tray for early risers, the room décor with an extraordinary wooden piece, and the Buddha above were all great. The bedding could be firmer or replaced, even though I slept well, and a bit more attention to cleanliness was needed (the toilet brush and a wardrobe door).

The place was lovely and quiet, with a very nice pool that we didn’t use but looked great. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and we had a charming little balcony where we could sit outside in the evenings, which was very cozy. We also took a short walk to the town and found a nice little pizzeria. The host was friendly and chatty, explaining everything in German. The only downside was the breakfast, which could have been more varied and plentiful, but we were still full.

The accommodation was comfortable and cozy, with all the necessary equipment (air‑conditioning, dishwasher, etc.). The outdoor areas were very pleasant, featuring a stunning pool, billiards, foosball, and walking paths to the river. A washing machine and dryer were also available on site. The staff were excellent, and Montpellier was reachable in about twenty minutes by car or by tram in the neighboring town.

“Établissement avec beaucoup de charme”

A spectacular property with unique architecture on each building that gives the estate its charm, creating a sense of separation and feeling like being in another country. Stunning, the staff were very friendly and kind to guests. I highly recommend this place and will return.
