“Hidden Gem of Peace, Warmth and True British Hospitality”
If you want a quiet, peaceful, and calming getaway to reset and recharge, this is the place. The location is probably the best we’ve experienced in Wales. Ruth and Peter, with many years of hospitality experience, have lovingly managed the property. From arrival we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for; their hard work, passion, attention to detail, and service‑oriented approach shine throughout the stay. The property has only two rooms, making it ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking peace, privacy, and tranquility away from busy hotels. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, the bed was absolutely amazing, the linen perfect, and even the water tasted wonderfully fresh. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and maintained. Food was another highlight: we had breakfast and dinner at the property, with meals prepared in‑house by the lovely host. For dinner, Ruth informs you of the menu and lets you choose whether you’d like to dine there. The food was delicious and added a very special touch. We had an absolutely wonderful time and would honestly say this was one of the best family holiday stays we’ve had. A huge thank you to Ruth and Peter for their kindness, warmth, and wonderful hospitality; your dedication to what you do is truly evident, and you made our stay memorable. If possible, we would absolutely love to come back again. For me, this stay created one of my best memories of genuine British hospitality. Thank you, Ruth and Peter, for making our stay a memorable experience. I found nothing negative, though travelers using public transport might have to walk a bit to reach the property; it is best accessed by car.
