A solid hotel in a good spot. The rooms feel a bit dated but are very roomy and clean. Breakfast was very extensive and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Everything was excellent. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was extensive (including perfect bacon for scrambled eggs, which is rare), and everything was always refilled. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. I don’t really like the bathtub with a shower curtain, but it was clean and the curtain wasn’t “annoying”. I prefer apple spritzer for breakfast; there was only multivitamin, orange juice, and water. That’s a problem I’ve had at every other hotel.

The service and breakfast are very satisfactory. The place feels old‑fashioned; I’ve been visiting relatives in Bottrop for decades, and sometimes I rent an apartment or stay in Essen or Oberhausen, which feel more modern.
