The spot was unique, but the little stove kept it very cold in winter, and if you’re not used to a boat, you might miss some comfort. Everything was basic, small, and a bit of a hassle—only one bathroom building was open—yet that didn’t outweigh the feeling of being “on board.” You could hear the water gurgling and it felt completely immersive. The bedding smelled fresh and was ready. There were a few games, and everything else you need was within walking distance.

The location was great and we had a fun experience on the boat, but we didn’t stay the night because getting onto the boat was difficult, so after dinner we drove home.

The location is excellent and the owner is nice. It’s fun to sleep in a small sailing yacht, but I’d suggest doing it when the weather is warmer (we stayed in late March when the outside temperature was 10 °C), because it was very cold inside and we spent minimal time on the boat (the warm duvets were great). If you’re a bit older, stepping onto the boat might be hard.
