A friendly staff member welcomed us and escorted us to our room, which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the staff serving it were wonderful.

The room and bathroom were generous in size. Having the café just downstairs made breakfast and lunch convenient, though we didn't get a chance to use the shared living/kitchen area much; it’s well-equipped for a night in. The location is great, a short drive to Cambpeltown and the Gigha ferry. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable for me; I’m quite tall and it felt a bit short, but otherwise there were no issues.

The place was clean, cozy, and the check‑in was easy. However, a window had been left open before we arrived, so the room was cold at first.

The property was very peaceful, spotless, and well maintained. The location and staff are among the best in Scotland, absolutely fantastic.
