“Basic hotel. Excellent staff”

The staff were amazing, especially the younger man at reception who went above and beyond. The rooms were basic, tiny, and over heated. The bathroom needs a total refurb, it was very dated and the bath was stained. There was a nice view but the room was tiny, not worth paying extra for, we could barely move around the bed and the radiator thermostat did not work, so it was baking hot. The bar had zero atmosphere. On Saturday night a group of 6, not residents, was loud, using foul language, clearly drunk. They started a fight outside just before midnight and it carried on till 3am, keeping us up and awake. The room was tiny, the bath was stained, it needed a complete refurbishment, it was old fashioned, over heated, and the thermostat did not work.

“Not bad for price paid”

The location was good with a sea view room, and the hotel was dog friendly, warm, and nice. The breakfast was expensive at 15quid. The room could have been cleaned a little better, and we needed to top up the toilet rolls for new arrivals.

Found an alternative room. Multiple issues with room allocated - TV not fitted properly, windows couldnt be opened/locks broken, shower unusable / vibrating pipes, original room not clean. Problems with alternative room also reported. Fire door on 2nd floor tampered with, breaking fire regs and unsafe. Manager 'not on duty and not contactable'

The bed was comfortable The view from our room was great. No staff at the bar Some very dodgy residents The room was cold and very basic and could hear people in the other rooms

“Hospitality at its BEST!!!!”

Firstly was the location of the hotel. The warm welcome we received upon arrival, the man who greeted us at reception was very friendly, and answered all our questions about the area. He was very approachable, which is a huge plus in the hospitality sector. The only thing i didn't like was having to come home. I cannot fault the hotel, it was clean, fantastic location, and very welcoming
