This was my second stay here, and again I had an excellent experience; the hosts are wonderful, the breakfast is exceptional, and the accommodation is very affordable and well‑located.

I liked the facilities, the location, the service, the comfort, and the breakfast; the personalized breakfast service with on‑demand preparations stood out; the location is excellent, especially the green area, the waterfall, and the proximity to the main attractions; Adriana and her husband are very friendly and attentive; I stayed in chalet 3. During the three‑night period, the chalet could have been cleaned; we were told there was a communication issue with the person scheduled to clean, which is why the chalet was not cleaned for at least one day; the breakfast area can feel a bit cramped when the lodge has three or more chalets occupied, but this did not significantly affect our experience.

Recanto da Ruína is a nicely situated guesthouse that gives easy access to many attractions around Pedra Menina, and it offers a lovely view of a stream that later becomes a river crossing the grounds. Each chalet has its own parking spot, making it accessible for everyone. Breakfast is quite hearty, and the staff are very helpful, providing extra options like eggs and pão de queijo. Adriana was especially attentive, pointing out regional highlights such as sights, restaurants, cafés and places to buy quality local products. The only drawback for us was the lack of daily housekeeping; you can request cleaning every two days, so the upkeep of the room and bathroom depends on the guest.

Breakfast was great, and Adriana and her husband are very kind; I felt the accommodation was pricey, had a bathtub, but it was a jacuzzi.
