The view of Etna from the pool and the excellent meal were highlights. The restaurant is pretty noisy.
The people are gorgeous, the pool is beautiful, Etna’s smoke is everywhere. The hand shower could be upgraded to a ceiling one.
The hotel sits in a beautiful enclosed garden with a huge pool and an amazing view of Etna. The room is called Bon and the breakfast is good. The décor in the room and the restaurant is very minimalistic, which is a matter of taste but feels very austere. The bathroom is nice, yet oddly it has a small shower about 50 cm deep and a folding door, which is very unusual in Italy where showers are usually large. The pool is very cold, which makes sense because it was the end of September and the pool is huge.
