Nothing positive. They called and canceled my room a couple hours before we arrived driving out of town for a wedding and the room we booked they said wasn’t available, I don’t know why it was advertised, it was very disappointing.

The location is awesome (only place near Fall Creek Falls since their lodge was full). The sheets smelled clean (but stained). I have never in the US been in such awful hotel conditions! There were dead roaches, grass hoppers, beetles and spiders throughout the entire room and bathroom. Not exaggerating! There was a smell of urine in the room, though not nearly as bad as the first room they showed us. We had requested a 3 bed room (for our 4 kids and us), we drove all the way there to discover they had given that room away and they only had a 2 bed room, and no extra blankets or to make a pallet because the guy checking us in said he didn’t have access to them. Turns out, we didn’t need blankets because the A/C didn’t work! (But also the floor was so nasty we would NEVER let our kids sleep on it.) The A/C was only blowing outside air all night and we were so uncomfortable. So we slept 3 people in a bed, with only a blower for a/c, with the sheet off most of the night because we were so hot and sticky. There was no one to call to ask for help with the A/C! It was cooler outside than inside but we couldn’t open the window because, while the window would open, there was no screen, so critters (or people) could just crawl in. We tried to leave and find another hotel but there was nothing and we were too tired to safely drive back home. Another thing is, there was no smoke detector in any of the room (which is illegal). At least 2 of the rooms had little personal grills and junk set up outside of them so I assumed people live there. How dangerous to not have any smoke detectors, especially if People are cooking there! This morning when the sun came up, we realized why there are so many bugs all over the room. There are massive gaps around the A/C unit and the outside! There is a metal grate on the outside but giant gaps where it’s just open. I took photo and video that showed sun shining in through the wall. There was also a gap under the door but the gaps around the AC was pitiful. Such a shame, it obviously had such charm at one time but they’ve turned it into a dump

It’s near the park, but I didn’t get a key to enter, there was no TV remote, and the toilet leaked.

The fridge and wifi were decent, but the shower was terrible and the room looked like it was still being renovated; housekeeping barged in unannounced.

We arrived late for a 20‑mile hike the next morning, only to be told the hotel had no rooms because they were triple booked, forcing us to drive 30 minutes the other way; three other guests at the next hotel confirmed the same story.
