The room was large, bright and spotless – exactly what we hoped for. Unfortunately the hot‑water tap wouldn’t shut off and the showerhead was missing a piece, so it blasted out in one huge stream. My partner managed to jury‑rig a fix, but it was still a nuisance. Probably just a one‑off issue.

The spot was perfect for us, right where we needed to be. The only drawback was that the shower never got fully hot, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel’s location was spot‑on, which we appreciated. However, when we arrived ten minutes after breakfast started they refused to serve us, yet at checkout they still charged us for three breakfasts.

Being close to the airport was a real convenience, making arrivals and departures easy. The breakfast, however, left a lot to be desired – the selection was thin, the quality uneven, and the staff weren’t very attentive.

The hotel sits right next to a big shopping centre with a view of the countryside, and the breakfast was excellent thanks to the standout service from the dining hall staff. Still, we were promised a quiet cabin and got a room under the restaurant where bright green floodlights shone in, the noise from the floor above was constant, and the shared pool was dirty with green slime on the walls.
