“Trop cher pour une petite chambre dans un bâtiment , pas de service, pas d’hôtel.”
It wasn’t a hotel at all, just an Airbnb run by a hotel, three rooms in a nondescript building with hard-to-find access and little signage. The doorbell was almost unreadable, no one was at the front desk, the elevator shook with only two people, and the apartment door barely had a name on it. Inside, a narrow hallway with a worn, stained rug. A lady gave instructions on how to use the entry keys and the apartment door, and the room door. That was it. She was there until 4 pm. The breakfast was decent but not a hotel breakfast; I had to leave the morning and find a bistro that served coffee‑croissants and orange juice. Nothing else.
