“It’s fine if you don’t mind it being very basic.”

The room was clean with a good shower, a convenient kitchen and fridge, good towels, and the self‑check‑in/out process was easy, but the bed was very hard, the slanted ceiling with a dormer window kept hitting my head, the photos showed regular windows, light streamed in, I was in room 5 on a flight of stairs, and there was only one pillow per person.

“Seria melhor si tivesse receptividade”

The location and view were great, but the accommodation was fine while the bathroom lacked a toilet seat, the manager was very ill‑humored and rude, didn’t answer the phone if something happened, and I even left my charger there and couldn’t retrieve it because he didn’t respond to calls or texts.

It was quiet, well‑situated for the river cruise, clean, comfortable, and offered good value for money.

The place is very well located with a nice view of the Douro, easily reachable from the station, and the amenities nearby are convenient; the bedding is comfortable and the bathroom is efficient, and there are selective waste bins just below the building. The kitchen is poorly equipped—no dishcloth, only one small pan and one small pot—yet the electrical appliances are superb (oven, fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee maker). The accommodation is very noisy because a busy road runs right below the building, loud day and night, so earplugs are essential.
