A stunning, very atmospheric spot right in the Tuscan hills, quiet and peaceful, yet convenient for trips to Pisa and Lucca. The restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is good and worth recommending. Everything else was fine.

We were the only guests, so breakfast was quite nice. The first night fell on a Saturday, and an event in the garden caused loud chatter until about 1:00 AM. There was no air conditioning, which might be acceptable in normal weather, but this summer was scorching and windows couldn’t be opened without a flood of mosquitoes coming in.

The room was very spacious, the surroundings clean, and breakfast was decent. The furnishings were a bit dated.
