I flew from the Netherlands to Alicante, got an eight‑hour delay, and when I finally reached the hotel at 11 PM I was wiped out; I didn’t bother to note the room number and just used the code I’d been given to enter and sleep. In the morning I was woken by shouting—I couldn’t understand because I don’t speak Spanish, but the person next to me was furious and seemed to be insulting me. After that, I don’t care if a hotel is rated ten stars or zero; after that incident this place deserves nothing.
