The TV was broken, and staff said the whole building couldn’t be viewed; they offered a 100 ¥ refund, but I declined and could have left without paying. At almost 7 pm in Ta‑Mali, they told me to find accommodation elsewhere, which made me furious. Later they changed the refund to 300 ¥, but I still couldn’t find a place to stay, so I just endured it and will never stay in Ta‑Mali again.

Ants crawled into the AC duct holes and along the wall corners, sometimes even onto the bed. The underside of the toilet lid had suspicious moldy black spots.

The staff were cheerful and cute. The room was spacious – it was supposed to be a double but turned out to be twin. Besides free bottled water, a water dispenser sat in the hallway. Tea bags and coffee granules were provided. Breakfast was a ticket system, letting me choose anything at a nearby cafeteria. The path to the station is uphill, so walking there isn’t convenient.
