“Simples, atendeu minhas expectativas e o que realmente precisava, Bom chuveiro, boa cama e bom preço”

The breakfast was simple but delicious; not many options, yet it met my needs. The room was small and basic, exactly what I wanted—a place to shower and sleep. It also satisfied my needs; I rode a motorcycle and the parking worked fine. In short, Hotel Goll was simple but offered a perfect stay for a day in the city. The shower and bed were good, just what I needed. I found the corridors a bit of a maze, narrow and zig‑zagged until reaching the room. The bathrooms were cramped and could be “bad” to use. The hallways barely fit two people at once; they’re tight. Fortunately, the hotel was empty.

“Condizente com o valor, mas poderia ser melhor”

The staff were always very polite and friendly. I arrived earlier than expected and the gentleman let me in before paying the half‑day rate, even adding breakfast. Breakfast was simple but matched the price: juice, Danone, coffee, milk, cornflakes, two fruit options, cakes, bakery bread, ham and cheese, butter. Sheets, pillowcases and towels were clean. There was no waiting room for check‑in; the reception was just a small square with a counter, no chairs, benches, sofa, etc. There isn’t a real table for breakfast; a counter runs around the room and you sit on those raised bar stools, which can be uncomfortable for older people and kids. The two sandwich machines need replacement; the Teflon is coming off. The coffee was strong/charred and the orange juice was artificial. Breakfast hours were very early. The hotel had a no‑smoking sign, yet the corridors and some room fronts smelled of cigarettes. I chose the room with a fan, which was a cheap table fan that worked well without noise. As some people complained, the floor looked dirty and it was actually so; it felt like walking on a wet mop without changing the bucket water, you couldn’t walk barefoot because it felt sticky. The toilet was faulty and leaked a lot every time I used it. The bed was uncomfortable; it seemed fine, but I woke up with a half‑sagging mattress and back pain. There was no large mirror in the room for getting ready. All the outlet mirrors were broken. The curtains could be blackout.

“Básico. Para uma noite, OK”

The staff were friendly and parking was included. The room is quite small, has no wardrobe, and the bed only comes with one sheet, which discourages using the blanket. One bath towel is provided, but no face towel.
