The host was lovely and the spot was gorgeous—simple lodging that let us feel the local vibe. A bit more mosquito protection, like coils or nets, would have been appreciated.

We’re both grateful to Anouk and her cousin for their warm welcome; the place is perfect for anyone wanting to unplug and fully enjoy Polynesia. All the gear we needed was there, the property is close to the airport yet free of noise, a beach a few kilometres away, and a tasty snack bar within walking distance. Anouk is the kind of person you’d love to meet on every vacation; we enjoyed chatting with her on the terrace or in the kitchen over meals. She knows Raiatea and Polynesia inside out and will stay with us in memory and heart no matter how long we stay or where we head next. Thank you for your hospitality, Anouk!

The proximity to shops and the airport, plus Anouk’s friendliness and warmth, made it great. The only downside was the lack of window screens, so mosquitoes were plentiful in the mornings and evenings.

The location is perfect, not far from the center and restaurants. Go meet Anouck! She's a lovely person, full of humor and kindness. We felt right at home!! The bungalow is very clean and the bed is very comfortable, good breakfast, pretty garden, and adorable little companions too. Don't miss this address if you enjoy chatting and learning about Raiatea and Polynesia. Big thanks Anouck.
