The only bright spot was the location. The room itself was a nightmare: it smelled terrible, was filthy, had cigarette stains on the bathtub, and the walls and door were dirty. The hairdryer cord was disgusting, the sheets felt scratchy, and the washcloth turned brown when it got wet.

The place was nice and clean, but it was a bit pricier than other options.

The room was nice, clean, and odorless. No complaints.

Nothing good to say. The owner was rude and unprofessional. After checking in, I asked for a box of facial tissues and he said “Red Roof doesn’t require them.” He gave me a harsh look when I mentioned we had a dog, insisting we should have disclosed it when booking. He seemed to think we’d get a lower‑quality room if we had told him earlier. Our dog is probably cleaner than most guests at this place. We’ll never stay here again, even though we travel to Florida often. The towels were the size of a postage stamp and of poor quality. There were several repairs needed in the aging room—door hardware, bathroom vanity, etc.—and overall it felt like a dump. Sorry, but that’s the truth.
