I never received any reply from the host, so I had to find another apartment and never got a refund. There was no communication at all.

The location was convenient, but the coffee pot was broken, there was no can opener, and the balcony lacked patio chairs. The cooking pots were unusable, the ice maker filter needed replacement and produced dirty ice, and there was no place to sit beside the bed. Construction workers peered into my window from the stairs outside while working on renovations, which was very unsettling since I was traveling alone.

The location was very good, yet the entire place was under construction. The pool area was unusable and noisy, and on the second day my balcony was made inaccessible.
