The hotel has views of Mount Fuji. We couldn’t have breakfast; we chose half‑board but it turned out to be only dinner. The buffet portions were very small and didn’t reach everyone. We were given 19:30 h to 21 h to dine, but the buffet closed at 20:30 h.

An older couple runs the place, and the experience is exceptional; we highly recommend it. We enjoyed it a lot and left feeling relaxed. The rooms are a bit old but that didn’t bother us. The owner gave us a tram ticket for a trip we needed the next morning. They are very kind and sweet. The private onsen lasted 50 minutes and was just enough.

The room overlooking Fuji was great! We did hit a few weather hiccups, but if you’re planning a day at Fuji-Q Highland, the hotel’s spot is perfect—just a 5‑minute walk. My boyfriend, who has tattoos, was still able to use the hotel’s onsen. The front desk staff spoke flawless English, and booking the shuttle bus was a breeze. The room came with ergonomic pillows.

We used the onsen. Unfortunately, the bad weather prevented us from seeing Mount Fuji.
