The room was spacious and relaxing, and the hot spring was very pleasant, but checking in after dark made it hard to locate the distant gravel parking lot; a map would have helped.

The room was roomy and comfortable, but the dinner course was spaced too far apart and we were made to wait; a used toothbrush was found in the bathroom trash can.

The breakfast offered a wide variety, the onsen pools were small but the two outdoor ones were very peaceful, and the set multi‑course dinner was excellent with many dishes; the location was great for visiting Otaru, though a buffet dinner would have let us pick our own food.

The sauna and hot spring in the room were very refreshing, and I could relax at ease; the dryer, refills, and amenities were good, though the wait time for dinner was long, which I understood was due to the Silver Week.
