We chose the Aqua boat house because of the picture, but the house needs TLC; the boat was docked where it blocked the sunrise so we couldn’t enjoy the view, the food was not tasty at all—when we asked for spicy, they made it very mild and flavorless, and there was no hot water in the shower. I won’t recommend this boat house.

The meals were nothing special, and the cruise that left at 12:00 spent an hour stuck in crowded canals, another hour stopped for lunch in a dull spot, then three more hours weaving through countless boats on a completely uncharismatic waterway; we finally docked at 17:30 in a boat‑parking jammed together. The next morning the driver was supposed to be waiting at 9:00, yet we didn’t arrive until 9:30 to get off. In total we endured four hours of sailing on congested canals, the staff didn’t speak any English, the food was mediocre and the facilities were extremely poor.

The staff on board were really professional and friendly, and we loved being able to moor in quiet, different spots for both nights. Having the boat all to ourselves made for a really blissful experience.
